ÉTANG D'ABRESCHWILLER

The municipal bathing facilities are open to the public free of charge in July and August (closed when the water does not reach 18° or in case of bad weather). Location: rue du Moulin in Abreschviller. Numerous activities in the vicinity: cycle tracks (and mountain bike trails), forest tourist train, hiking, tennis…

PETIT TRAIN D'ABRESCHWILLER

The little train of Abreschviller is a little forest train that takes you through the forests of the area with the charm of a steam train. A must for a relaxing ride!

SARREBOURG

The town of Sarrebourg (the nearest good-sized town to Saint-Quirin) has the beautiful Chagall chapel with its magnificent stained glass windows. A stroll through the town centre can be fun and a stop at the famous café/bar/brasserie Le Trois Quatorze is highly recommended!

ÉTANG DE WALSCHEID

Close to the Vosges du Nord regional nature park, the Walscheid commune has a pond which is open for swimming in July and August under the supervision of a lifeguard. An ideal place for relaxation, rest and calm.

LE DONON

The Donon and its Roman temple are worth a nice walk. The road leading to the pass from Saint-Quirin is nature, nature, nature, winding through the mountains.

LE ROCHER DE DABO

The Dabo rock is a very large rock at the top of the village of Dabo on which a church has been built. The view is magnificent, and a short climb from the village can be a nice walk.

The famous Sainte-Croix animal park is a must when you are in the area. Very well thought out, beautiful to look at, and fun to walk around. The park is home to many European animals that are not necessarily well known!
